Interests: I really, REALLY love to play the piano. I play by ear, mostly, and it's one of the few things that I will say with confidence that I do well. I also do a lot of communicating... I like interpersonal communication because of the relational aspect, and I thoroughly enjoy writing because it gives me the opportunity to choose my words carefully, peruse, revise and edit. way too long....

...since I wrote. I'm on my parents' computer at the moment, listening to the new 'Muse' album. Brilliant. I think I'm going to a Columbus Crew game tonight with the little boys... should be fun. David still looks like a chipmunk from having his wisdom teeth out and Ann Marie is continually tired and grumpy from working at 6 am every morning but it's still good to see them. Anyhow. I'll be more interesting later on.

Well. It HAS been a long time since I got around to posting. I figure I owe it to a faithful few...

I thought about it the other day; it has been over 6 years since I graduated from high school. I have spent much of that time enrolled in college and, sadly, have yet to grab myself an undergraduate degree (unless you count my B.S. in BS). However, although it's taken me more time than I would have liked, I will have only been at Ohio State for 13 quarters when I graduate in March. So, I feel better about myself, that it hasn't actually taken me 6+ years of classes to get where I am now, which is two quarters away from my BA in Interactive Communication. GuhRoovy. At the moment I am cooped up in a typical campus hovel, er, apartment on 5th and Dennison. I'm close enough to campus to walk but 10+ blocks can be a pain. I take the bus.   My lease runs through March and after that, who knows :) I have three Communication classes; 501, 624, and 660. We are getting to the end of the line here, folks :) One class is a required research methods class, which should not pose too much of a problem. Another class studies the affects of the media on children... it can be sort of dry. I do have one class called "Communicating In Relationships" that, though it sounded rather general, turned out to be a class I'm enjoying immensely. What it all boils down to is studying, picking apart, contemplating, discussing and writing about heterosexual romantic relationships. FUN. I might pick up a tip or two, hm? Anyhow.
